Question:
We are going to start a women's compound bow team here at CU. We plan on
buying a couple of bows to get the women started. Before we buy I'd like
to get other peoples advice on what weight range I should consider for a
beginner? Also, what drawlength range would work for a women?
Answer:
I'm glad to hear a recommendation for the Browning Micro Midas. My wife
is also interested in archery and after a lot of searching, I have just
ordered a Micro Midas for her. I found very few bows that seem to be
made for women. Many that have short draw lengths, but higher draw
weights that she couldn't pull. Browning has a Micro series that is
aimed for women, and since I own a Browning Mantis which I have been
extremely pleased with, I would not have any difficulty in recommending
the Midas to anyone. Good luck with your archery team!
