Question:
I have a 17 year old son who got his first hunting license and
now cant wait for deer season to start. Unfortunately, I became
disabled a few years ago and cant take him out to show him the basics
the way my dad showed me. I was wondering if there is a "how to" video
available someplace that does a reasonable job of this. He is already
planning on going out with a few of his friends who have been hunting
for years, but being 17 and learning from other 17 year olds, I'd
prefer he at last saw the basics done properly first. Any help will be
appreciated.
Answer:
It depends on where you live, but many state DNRs have classes for exactly
this. Many of them are specifically geared towards women, but men are
usually welcome. http://thesi.com/states.html
