Question:
I am located in Central Pennsylvania and would like to hunt whitetail deer
in Ohio with a bow.
I have gathered information throughtout the last couple of months and have
received many contradictions.
I have several questions for anyone who knows a little bit about hunting
areas in Ohio.
Typically, what areas of the state are recommended for whitetail hunting?
Answer:
You can call any of the Ohio Division of Wildlife numbers such as the
Headquarters in Columbus at: 614-265-6300 or 800-WILDLIFE (I don't know if this
works from out of state, I assume it does). I called this year and they sent me a
map of all the state lands in Ohio. You'd still need to get topo's or other
detailed maps (some also available from the Ohio Division of Wildlife) of the
areas of interest to you.
