PSE gear is a well known and popular make.
2. Before you buy any equipment, GET TRAINED! Find your local archery club,
contact them, and have a few coaching sessions before you lash out on your
own gear. This way, your club coach or fellow members will be able to guide
you through choosing. There is a huge array of gear out there, and for the
novice its very difficult to know what to get. The important thing is to
learn to shoot first.
3. E-Bay is a good place to look for used equipment, but bear in mind that
a) you probably can't try the gear for suitability/fit/condition before you
buy, and b) if anything goes wrong with it, you've no comeback at all.
