Question:
I am a transplant to "The Natural State" from Utah, and was pleasantly
surprised to find out that trout fishing does take place here. I
decided to take a day and go explore a part of The White River. Not
bad, not bad at all.
Even though I spent more time exploring than actualy fishing, I still
had some success landing some rainbows and a couple of brookies.
I am looking forward to spending more time on the river this summer as
all of the different hatche take place.
Answer:
have had little luck on dry flies on either the White or Norfolk. When
fishing the Norfolk always take lots of small size 18 sow bugs.I prefer the
Little Missouri in Southwest Arkansas for dry flies in Arkansas. It is a great
place to fish March Browns and try them undersized: size 16 brings fewer
refusals. The trout fishing in Arkansas is great, but you are missing a bet if
you do not fish both the Buffalo River and Crooked Creek for smallmouth bass
