Saltwater fly fishing school recommendations wanted

Question:
Can anyone recommend any fly fishing schools/workshops where we can learn saltwater fly fishing? I've heard of LLBean's and Orvis fly fishing workshops. Are these any good?

Answer:
I do not run a "flyfishing company" like Orvis or others. If it's easy for you to go flyfishing in the US, I've heard about a flyfishing in saltwater school somewhere in the US south east coast. Don't know about. But may be other users of this Forum know. In case mail me, I will give you the contact after a short search. But if you can come fishing around here, in South Pacific, New Caledonia, you can be sure that I will be your guide. I can teach you the good base about flyfishing in saltwater. I will not bring you to 100 lb tarpons as the Pacific specie is smaller than this. But' I can teach you how to "feel" the saltwater. You will be learning what you have to know to properly set your tackle, from the fly to the end of the backing. I will teach you the "thinking way" of saltwater fishes. I think that the first thing a fisherman have to know is how to hook the fishes that are around him. In New Caledonia, no huge tarpons, but huge bonefishes, huge trevally, huge tuna and much more. You will hook them. But I hope that the first purpoise of your quest is to understand why you hook a fish previous to be happy of a fish you get "by luck". I don't wan't you to think that you will not find good guide in Florida or Bahamas. I'm sure, there's really good guide over there. If I knowed a good one, I will give you the contact. And I don't know them because I fish different water. I'm sure that some of the current user of this message board will give you good information. I know about me. I do not want to say that I'm a good flyfisherman. I just want to say that I've learn to hook fish all over the world. Not that I'm better than all the other one. Just because flyfishing is for me a way of life before any commercial purpoise. I was travelling with fly rod like a surfer do with his board. And I made the choice to consider my way of life. Whatever, the most important is: you have to flyfish in saltwater. It's great. Only a few river or lake in the world can provide me something I can compare to flyfishing in saltwater.
