Question:
doesnt matter how much you ask, the dweebs selling bows on ebay
dont/cant/wont tell you if they are warped or cracked, limbs twisted etc.
so far got my money back on two, over $200 outstanding and may be gone on 3 others.
Answer:
Being that you are new to archery, I would strongly suggest that you take the
bow to your local pro-shop and have someone take a look at the bow. On a
compound bow there are many things that can be wrong. On a recurve or longbow,
the main thing to look for are cracks, limb twist and lamination separation. If
you don't know what to look for it is common to mistake stress marks on the
limbs for cracks and visa versa. Most pro-shops can take a quick look over the
bow and give you more informed opinion.
