Ontario Fly Fishing

Question:
Was just curious, since I am a novice at this great sport, if there are any good places to go fly fishing in the Kingston, Ontario area, give or take an hour driving?

Answer:
You can try any of the lake ontario tributaries along the 401. Wilmont, Ganarska, Cobourg Creek for trout. Closer to Kingston, there is the Bing Retreat http://www.bingretreat.com which has nice brookies ... Frontenac Provincial park has brookies also... more of a canoe-in kind of place but very nice. Up near Ompah, straight north past sharbot lake there are additional brookie and rainbow lakes.
