any good places to go fly fishing in the Kingston, Ontario area, give or
take an hour driving?

You can try any of the lake ontario tributaries along the 401.
Wilmont, Ganarska, Cobourg Creek for trout.
Closer to Kingston, there is the Bing Retreat http://www.bingretreat.com
which has nice brookies ...
Frontenac Provincial park has brookies also... more of a canoe-in kind of
place but very nice.
Up near Ompah, straight north past sharbot lake there are additional brookie
and rainbow lakes.
