Question:
I'm planning a fishing trip for my father and I some time this Fall.
I've never been on a fishing trip to Canada and a search on the web
doesn't help reduce the confusion. There are so many locations and
packages. Does anyone have recommendations for lodges or cabins? Here
are some specifics:
We're travelling from Ohio so we don't want to go too far North into
Ontario.
We like to fish for walleye, Northern pike, and perch.
I'd like to do a Fly-in trip but I don't think I can convince my dad. Is
a fly-in required to get to good fishing in a fairly remote location?
Answer:
Go to http://www.lake-link.com , there's a link to Mousou's (spelling?)
lodge. I've been told that t's the closest to a fly-in that you can get
without getting into a plane. I have a friend that just returned from there
and had fantastic fishing.
