Question:
Well I have been checking on several good bucks most of the summer. Well now
it must be the time of the year, as we seem to get closer, closer to the
start of archery season ( Oct 15 Sunday) , I seem to see less and less of
these deer. Seemed to work the same way for the turkey, two days befor the
season started I counted 35 birds in the field down the road, the day the
season opened zero..... I guess that why it called hunting.
Answer:
I hunt on the property behind my house in Orange Co. NY, the day before opening
day I counted six does in my yard. Of course come the 15th not a deer could be
seen. New York deer sure are smart!!
