I too hunt in Minnesota. Where do you hunt? I hunt northeastern Ottertail
county. Lots of deer, and quality bucks to boot. Actually permit area 411.
Snow would be nice, but not necessary for my hunt. Although I did buy new
boots this year! I hunt the first weekend in November. Tips?
Well, the usual. Make sure you can hit with your choice of firearm.
Patience. Remain still in your stand. Watch for movement, not the whole
deer. If you can, remain or return to your stand around the noon hour, lots
of hunters moving around, which makes the deer move.
