Question:
I'm asking a favor. I have a trip planed for Feb. for lake
trout fishing and nothern pike fishing in canada near Dryden Ontario.But here
is the Question I have never been in Canada for fishing and don't know what to
expect for the last week in Feb to be like .That and I have never fished for
lake Trout.Any info on lure's to use or bait would be good.

we did eagle lake ontario a couple of years ago and because of the heat the
pike and muskie where a little slow to say the least..
there are two recognized(on map) trout holes on that lake and I assume your
gonna be doing Eagle...
we used jigs tipped with ciscos(i think) and small spinners and caught a
couple of decent fish ...
I was bound and determened to catch the ever elusive muskilunge of a lifetime
so after half of a day went back to the
cabbage and islands looking...
If you are doing eagle I believe you are restricted to season and bag
limits...and the west arm is where they are... lake trout...
