Question:
Any body out there fishing in Illinois?
Maybe we could share ideas, thoughts, and secerts to better land some of
those finicky largemouth. Most of my bass fishing takes place in
Central Illinois. Although, some of my better fish have come out of the
Missippi River in the northern pools. Let me know where you fish and
what it took to pull the fish out. Maybe we fish the same lakes.

Is Lake Shelbyville really that bad?! I was planning a trip there this
weekend to scout it out for a 4 day camp/fish weekend on the 4th of July.
I'd be interested to find out if others that have fished here find it that
rough. From looking at a topo map of the lake it would seem to be a great
summer bass fishing lake. Lots of steep drop offs into 20-30 ft. of water.
