Question:
A buddy of mine recently moved to Boise and has been
tormenting me with tales of fine trout fishing in his
new locale. I'm dying to go up and sample the fishing,
but grad school leaves little time. How late in the
year is it fishable up there--does it ever get too cold,
snowbound, etc. It's looking like I might get free for
a weekend in mid-late November, will that be too late?
Answer:
My friend has fished the south fork of the Boise river well into December
so late November won't be too late. We will probly be fishing it this
year around thanksgiving time. Where does your friend go mostly? Other
spots might be inaccesible, so the Boise will be a good bet.
