Question:
I'd like to do some late season deer hunting, but with major back problems I
can no longer use a tree stand and will probably have to use a crossbow.
I'd be hunting on my own land in NW Ohio...
Answer:
I also have a bad back and bad leg so no more tree stands. I use a ground
blind that is in advantage camo. Does help to keep you out of sight, but key
to hunting on the ground is use natural materials, down trees etc and make
sure you keep checking the wind. If the deer can get your scent, it will be
all over. Not like when you are in a tree stand, and make sure the deer head
is behing a tree, befor you pull up to shoot....
