Propane Deer Stand Heater

Question:
I am currently using a small propane heater in my box blind. Does anyone think the emmisions / fumes effect my hunt? Would charcoal, wood, or another fuel be a better choice?

Answer:
Don't know about the odor but a sunflower heater I was using in a box blind affected my hunt once by setting fire to the sleeve of my jacket, with my left arm in it. Turn off the heater, pat out the flames, take the shot...everything turned out fine. Charcoal or wood would seem to carry a higher risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. In my experience the big bucks and older smarter does don't show their snouts around fixed blinds, while the younger bucks and does skip all sorts of clues...and are the ones who usually end up in the freezer.
