Question:
I would like info on some good target archery bows. Take down or
"one-piece"? Recurve or Longbow? What are the pros and cons to these? I'm
6'2" and have a 32 in draw. I would like a bow that is 30lbs @ 28". (
$100.00 to $200.00 range preferably, but will spend more to get deserved
quality ).
Answer:
At this kind of price range you should be looking for a decent second
hand bow. If you buy a new bow at this price you'll be looking for
something better within a year...it always happens.
Remember that cheap bows have very poor resale value, you should
probably be able to get something like an old beat up Hoyt TD4 (or even
TD2 or TD3 for $200). As long as it's not been badly treated it'll last
you longer and shoot much sweeter. All IMHO of course,
