Which Dreamcast fishing game is the best and why?
Answer:
Sega Bass Fishing and Sega Marine Fishing both have good graphics and
fast arcade gameplay, with Marine Fishing having a lot more fish (SBF
has bass, pretty much) and an aquarium mode with lots to unlock. (SBF is
somewhat limited, but a great game, and has a tournament mode).
Sega Bass Fishing 2 is much harder, and very frustrating if you were
expecting gameplay like in SMF or SBF. It's more of a fishing sim.
Reel Fishing Wild has kinda cheesy graphics, but it has a lot of fish
and a lot to unlock. The play isn't quite as arcadey as SBF and SMF, and
it doesn't have the same exciting feel as the those two games, but it is
still a good game. SBF2 might be better than Reel Fishing Wild, but that
game was off putting because of expectations that it would be more like
the game it purports to be a sequel to.
There are also some import only fishing games, but I don't have them, so
I can't tell you much about them.
