Does anyone know the difference between these two companies? Which one owns
Jennings? Which one makes the recurves? I do not see any recurves on the
Bear Archery web page and the Fred Bear Co, if different,
Answer:
There is no difference. Bear Archery Company is located in Gainesville FL.
They own Jennings and they have reintroduced several of their more popular
recurves from the early 70s. They have a web page which I visited once a year
or so ago. Have since lost the address. You can believe Bear Archery and Fred
Bear are both names protected by trademarks and there will not be another
active company with those names.
