Over the years I have learned there are several things in addition to flies
I want in my vest . If you are new to fly-fishing you can look them over
for suggestions, or you may want to suggest things you don't find on mine

I want to add one thing to Ernie's list. A few years ago someone bouhgt me a
product, the Fly Trap (I think), which is basically a ventilated fly box that
takes the place of a vest patch for drying flies. I never bought one myself
because I thought it was a gimmick. I was wrong....one of the best products
I've used....now I don't lose half the flies on my vest when they rub against
clothing, etc, and they don't get ruined in the patch...I can't live without
it.
