am a newbie to fly fishing (actually fishing in general) and I would
like to subscribe to a fly fishing magazine. I live in Colorado and
would like one that focuses on fishing in the Rocky Mtns, or at least
the Western US.
Answer:
Join a local TU or FFF chapter. They will help you out with fishing
techniques, flys, and places to go much better then magazines. If you let
me know what town your in I can give you the address and name of the
chapter.
There are Rocky Mountain mags but they are only marginally informative.
The national level magazines like Flyfisherman or Rod and Reel and good
and periodically have Colorado articles.
