Im thinking of buying one of those strap on seats and just folding back the
original tree stand seat and forgetting it, maybe removing it altogether??
Answer:
I have had this problem a long time, and have never found a
satisfactory solution. I stand 6'3", 250+ lbs, and use an older Loggy
Bayou climber. The seat is way too low for extended comfort, but the stand
is secure with a guy my size.
The new Loggy has a taller seat, might be an improvement. Also, there is a
thing called the "Tree Lounge". I have several friends who hunt with them,
and love them. Kind of a "Barco-Lounger in a Tree". Aside from a hefty
price, they look heavy, and they are noisy. But people swear they can go
from dawn till dusk in one.
