Anybody with any more details as to what and when?
Hopefully, it's going to be Canadian oriented and will have some down to
earth programming. I grew tired of watching the US shows. One could get idea
that they do nothing but hunt on the game farms!
Answer:
I caught a couple of U.S. hunting shows where they were in
Northern Alberta, hunting on land I was familiar and live less than 30
minutes from. These guys were paying big Ameri-bucks to get to see
some mediocre bucks and shoot one. Some outfiters have bought land
and have set the land up like huntfarms. Tower blinds, fertilzed
second growth alfalpha, and wild deer, all on their private property.
I hunt my own farm and see more and better bucks. I have managed my
land for wildlife and some agriculture for twenty years and it is
paying off in wildlife populations.
