Question:
I'm thinking about heading to Texas next deer season
to hunt for whitetails. I haven't hunted deer (ever)!
I hear that there is very little public land on which
to hunt and therefore hunting leases are the usual
way hunters access private property. Can anyone
provide info on
I'm a loner type and don't really care to get
involved in any group hunts etc.. But some
of the info I've received from certain "outfitters"
have the price of a 3-day rifle hunt at $2200!
What's THAT all about? Do they wipe your butt
for you too or is that the cost of bagging some
deers these days?
Answer:
Some of the south Texas ranchs are quite expensive. These are
considered to be trophy ranches and I understand they take very good
care of you.
