Question: Does anyone know of any public land to hunt on around the Lubbock Texas
area? I just moved to this area and I'm looking for some places to hunt.
Answer: The looks like the closest Texas public land is Caprock Canyons State Park in
Briscoe County. It's 3 1/2 miles from Quitaque and they have White-tail, Mule
Deer, Pheasant and Turkey.
