Question: Can anyone tell me if there are any rivers or streams in the
California area for trout fishing. I am new to the area and trying to
find somewhere to go..
Answer: My father-in-law has had a cabin up there (Crestline) for many years.
It's OK when it's is stocked, but it is a small lake. I've had fair
success there over the years. There is mostly shore fishing, and a
rental boat area (expensive). Much better fishing if you drive up to
Big Bear.
