Olympic Archery

Question:
Are compound bows allowed in archery competitions at the Olympics?

Answer:
No, none of these are allowed at the Olympic Games. Only the Olympic bow, finger release, and non-magnified front sight (no rear sight) are allowed in the FITA rules governing Olympic competition. Furthermore, there is no possibility of this type of equipment being allowed in Olympic competition in the forseeable future.
