Question:
Does anyone have any experience with this? Describe your experience
Answer:
I'm sure most of us put more rounds though our handguns than our rifles, I sure
do! But I think the proper question should beI can't even come close and it doesn't sound like you can either.
While shooting 5" groups at 45 yards is pretty darn good for target shooting I
don't concider it sufficent for hunting, *especially* with such a light
caliber.
You (incorrectly) assume a .45acp isn't much less of a "stopper" than a .50 cal
ball from a Hawken rifle, then tell us not to tell you about energy because
shot "placement is number one.
If your main interest is hunting with a lighter weapon, I'd suggest you buy a
(used) S&W 6" M-686, add a 2X scope and buy a suitable hunting-type shoulder
holster.
