Question:
Cheap Bow ?
Answer:
While it is not necessary to have an expensive bow to hunt, there is a difference between "price" and "cost" in a situation such as yours. Three years ago I bought a $150 bow, and proceeded to put about $150 in accessories on it. It worked great. In fact I took a Pope & Young Mulie with it this Sept 6th. Just after that, I bought a used, but like new Mathews Ultra-Max with the rest at least, for $375. It shoots great also. If I decide to sell the Mathews in January, I will probably get what I paid for it. The "cheap" bow though would cost me a bundle to sell, so it is now destined to be a wall hanger just under my new trophy Mulie... As it is, I am out BOTH the price of the "cheap" bow and the Mathews, when I could have just started with the best. Though some would argue about the Mathews bows being the best(including me from their customer support standpoint), they are probably the finest bows for resale purposes, at least at this time.
