group reviews" - you'll be lucky! The archery industry doesn't really go in for any sort of reviews. You might find the odd US hunting site reviewing a compound bow, and "The Bow" magazine has had the odd review of pieces of kit, but it's little and far between.
However, you'll find lots of people willing to give you an opinion Here's mine: Don't take anyone else's word for it, go out and try some bows. The way it feels to you is probably the most important factor, but as a newcomer, you need to compare a few different ones to get an idea of the differences. So pop down to your local(!) archery shop and check
some out.
