Question:
I have been asked to coach 4-H archery in Ga and was wondering if anyone has
had any trials and tribulations coaching themselves?
Answer:
I haven't coached 4-H as a project but have taught it at 4-H camps. By far
the biggest problem was matching kids to the bows. We always had a pile of
recurve bows that were too light, too heavy, the wrong hand, you name it.
Then there was the problem of having enough arrows spined correctly for the
bows. If each kid has his own properly sized equipment, it takes huge load
off the coach.
