Question: I'd say they were a little bigger than a mule deer but definitely
smaller than an elk
Answer: I live outside of a city named Red Deer, in Alberta, Canada. A Scottish
agent for the Hudson Bay company in the late 1600s saw an Elk for the first
time and was reminded of those beasts back home.
