Question:
I'm going to Alaska and am going to be fishing for Artic Char and Grayling.
I need some patterns to tie before I go
Answer:
if you have the time, (you didn't say WHEN you were going) go to your
local library and ask them to get you a copy of "Fly Patterns of Alaska".
They can get it via the "inter-library loan system". It may take a couple
or three weeks to get it so don't be surprised! It contains recipes, and
great photos of fly patterns. It is also available from Frank Amato
Publications for about 20 bucks.
